I’d like to know why crazed mind controlling super villains and their henchmen worry me less than the sight of my ex-boyfriend on my doorstep.
I mean it would make sense if it were the evil telekinetic ex-boyfriend. Although he was never technically my boyfriend so I guess I couldn’t describe him as an ex.
Not sure what the terminology is for someone you kissed a few times and would have probably had sex with if you hadn’t discovered he was a double agent working for the aforementioned mind controlling super villain. (I just call him “The Prick”)
But no it wasn’t The Prick. It was Oliver who turned up wanting to talk. This would have been awkward at the best of times, it was made more so by the fact that I was in the middle of giving Katie back her… let’s just call it her stuff.
She was actually in the office on Friday (did I forget to mention that?) after bothering Director Moore (or as he put it “Stalking”) until he agreed to let her be a part of the rescue mission. (Don’t know how she found out about Michael’s capture but then again she is a spy.)
I managed to get rid of Oliver by promising we’d talk later. How hard could it be to squeeze that in around work stuff?
I just have to go on the rescue mission, pretend Katie isn’t in possession of stuff she stole from my bosses and plans to use it to kill Eli, feed my cats, pay back my neighbour by looking after her baby while she goes for a massage (especially looking forward to that) and have a conversation with my ex who am not sure I want to get back together with if that’s even what he wants to talk about.
All in the next 2 days.
Bugger.
