Work was very busy today. (Perfect distraction after a breakup.)
We’re getting all geared up for the big mission. The next round of “evil henchman x-factor” is happening in the next few days, 1st prize; superpowers (no capes!)
Michael, Aya and William will be the main team going in. There’s also a backup team going in because we know that they know we’re coming, (I think that sentence made sense, at least it did in my head.) The tactical details escape me (as do many things) but as far as I can tell its kind of a bait and switch. Michael’s team distract bad guys (probably by shouting “hey look over here, look at us!”) and then the B-Team sweep in and do… stuff.
Am sure it will be very clever and impressive which is why I will not be there.
Well I will be there but purely in my non-combat capacity. (Which was unintentionally alliterative… so was that.) I’ll be sitting in a tiny motel room off-site (hurray for not being in a van) with Stanley and two other agents, monitoring comms and whatever else it is that we’re supposed to do. (I have my Stanley cheat sheet for this mission, which is reassuring.)
We go in, defeat the bad guys, capture them, get more info on where Eli is, go defeat him, put him in jail, grab the power giving chemical, go home, have pizza.
I like this plan.
Especially the part where I get to have pizza… and Katie doesn’t get to kill Eli and therefore doesn’t go to jail forever causing me to have to find a new female friend.
It took me 5 years to make the only one I have.
Oh and if I’m very lucky, Daniel will get in the way forcing Michael to shoot him a little bit.
Which would cheer me up no end after the whole Oliver thing.
