Halloween – Double Date Pt. 3

Okay back to Halloween…

So the last thing in the world Mister Cutie Pie and myself would want to do at this moment would be to follow Daniel downstairs.

No scratch that. The LAST thing we’d want to do is split up while I follow Daniel and he tries to distract Helena with his Cutie Pie-ness. (It is very powerful.)

Guess which one we did…

I followed Daniel down to where they had Katie and Michael. I saw this absolutely huge man standing between the door and the two super spies who looked a bit worse for wear. (Although Katie still looked better than I ever have… don’t know how she does it!) Daniel was his usual smug self and seemed entirely satisfied to have the two of them cornered. (Lets face it when does he not look smug?) He smiled and said “You two might want to profess your love one last time before I get started.” (Hmmmm, awkward.)

Michael and Katie glared at each other uncomfortably and I am not sure I have ever seen a more horrible look of glee cross someone’s face as I saw on Daniel’s at that moment, “Oh my a lover’s quarrel? Tut tut such a shame… oh well let’s get to it shall we?” His face darkened and both of them went flying backwards against the wall.

“Now this is where I get to chose between putting a bullet in each of your heads…” he pulled out a gun, “or just ripping you limb from limb.” As he said the second part he seemed to enjoy the thought. I was looking around the room for anything I could do but unfortunately there were no handy bottles of wine or beer, or even a vase to hit him over the head with and then of course even if I managed to stop Daniel, there was still the matter of the bloody hulk beside him staring intensely at Katie and Michael. (I am pretty sure even with being invisible, he’d still squish me like a grape.

Daniel took a step backwards from them and aimed his gun at Michael’s head. We all had enough experience with Daniel to know he wouldn’t do the classic Hollywood villain monologue before he pulled the trigger…

I couldn’t breathe for what felt like, I don’t know how long, let’s just say a while and I couldn’t take my eyes off Daniel’s hand, wrapped round the gun I saw his grip tighten and start to squeeze…

To Be Continued…
