I thought this week was going to be boring, turns out a better word would be… disturbing.
Spent all of yesterday looking through photos and reading reports on fires that’ve been linked to the Russian man who’s working for Eli. He’s been connected to at least nine fires in the last four months; all of them have been flagged as suspicious. It’s pretty upsetting, spending your day looking through the aftermath of an arsonist/assassin.
Still there’s a new mission on the books and I have to get my head in the game. (Playing “Eye Of The Tiger” on a loop.)
Eli’s team are moving something tomorrow and the only thing we know is that it’s valuable and possibly dangerous. (Maybe to do with the whole mind control mystery?) Katie and Michael are going with George to intercept it in California (alright for some.) Michael’s pretty pissed off that George is going but since he’s the one that brought us the information it’s really his operation. (Would pay good money to watch them fight, in oil…with no clothes…there’s something wrong with me.)
Since I’m shadowing William I have much more involvement in the mission tomorrow. This is going to be a massive step forward for me, this level of responsibility means I actually get to make a difference and contribute to the work we’re doing.
I should probably call in sick.
Or…
“he’s watchin’ us all with the eeeeyyyyyeeee of the tiger!” “Dun, dun dun dun, dun dun dun, dun dun duuuuun!”
Okay I can do this!
