Thank You Snow!

Thanks for messing up public transport and preventing my sister from going home (am I ever going to sleep in my own F**king bed again?) Also thanks for making it impossible to get to the shops to buy furniture and for interfering with possible online shopping deliveries.

But most of all thanks for showing up the very first time I have travelled to work from my new flat. I was (this is not a joke) 3 hours late for work. At a normal job that’s bad, at my job they send a rapid response unit out to your house to make sure a rogue assassin with a grudge hasn’t popped by for a friendly chat. It wouldn’t be so bad if my sister wasn’t there; she opened the door to a bunch of very scary looking men who then had to pretend to check the gas meter (which I don’t have.)

When I finally got to work it was all go. The afternoon briefing caught me up with what was going on. The guy who (inexplicably and briefly) appeared in the vault and stole something (still won’t tell me what he stole) is also one of the guys from the break in a couple of months back (the one that caused us to reboot the system.) He was caught on tape there too, along with Eli and some other guy (who was Ex-Russian Counterintelligence.)

Anyway this guy is now the only one of the 3 from the original break in whose name we don’t know, although he has been spotted at the sites of many suspicious international incidents. (Mostly involving thefts.) William has been a spy so long he’s got quite a few connections in the criminal underworld and is going off with Michael to see if they can get a name to match the face. (Good luck boys!)

Meanwhile Katie has offered to teach me some self defence in her off time (future bruises already hurt) and she is also bringing me an inflatable bed tomorrow (am really hoping I won’t need it) isn’t she a sweetie?

I’m off for some hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows (upside to big sister visit.)
