Mind Control!! F**king Mind Control!!!
Yep my life is normal.
I arrived at work to find everyone very quiet and worried. Michael wasn’t at the morning briefing. It turns out that the mission didn’t go well. (understatement) Although we now know that Eli is one of the men who broke into the off-site offices. (The one who spoke to the guard before he died of self inflicted wounds.)
The team were discovered and caught and then brought to see Eli. This is usually the part where agents die.
All he did was greet them warmly (according to Katie) and then leave, but before he walked out of the door he turned to Michael and told him to kill his partner. Michael then pulled out his gun, trained it on Katie and fired. (WTF!!) She managed to get out of his line of fire before he shot but he just kept trying and finally he cornered her in an alley outside. Thankfully Stanley (who was in the van doing surveillance for the mission) shot Michael with a tranquiliser gun before he could kill her. (It goes without saying Eli and his people got away.)
Michael is being held in a cell in another wing of the building, he’s strapped to a bed and sedated. They have to keep him that way to stop him trying to kill Katie. (She really isn’t taking any of this well, naturally.) The doctors have done lots of tests and stuff and they said there’s something going on with his brain waves. (I know all the jargon.)
I might as well have come in to find the whole office upside-down for all the sense this makes. No one knows if it’s some kind of hypnosis or a drug or what the f*ck is going on but after the words ‘mind control’ enter a conversation I don’t really care how it’s being done.
Am currently online shopping for a Magneto-esque helmet to repel mind rays. (Hey don’t laugh this is my life.)
Son of a Bitch this is my life!
